My new favorite saying is "Save the mental health". Of course I would have found a more catchier phrase. But this is the seriously most important object you can possess.
Many a time I have seen people abuse their mental state. But can you do to damage an abstract idea????
Good question.
Excessive amounts of stress for a pro-longed time can have negative affects on your body and mental health. Your more likely to become sicker easier due to a lower immune system. Of course we can all manage different amounts of "stress" and stress is an individual interpretation.
One time I had my very first mental break down at age 23.... it was not fun. In fact it may be the largest pit falls of my life. It was extremely hard to find the will to distress your life
Depriving your body of a normal sleep schedule or from sleep in general can impair your mental abilities. Your body has a routine of hormones it releases on a regular schedule. Hormones to keep you awake and others to start to wind you down. Ignoring your bodies natural routine will have negative results.
Take care of your spirit. It's what makes you who you are. Acquiring an ear to listen to your body is special gift. Just like you listen to that pain in your shoulder or knee. Your mental state is sending you signals too.
Identify your emotions. Are you mostly happy or sad?
Declutter your brain. Sometime its critical to start removing stressors for a brain break
Actively look for the positives in your life in the world around you.
Save the mental health!
Each person is different and sees the world in ways we can't even imagine.
Be patient with your fellow man.
